Welcome to Knoqq’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”).
Knoqq (“Knoqq”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Knoqq mobile application (the “App”) and provides on-demand home services including cleaning, laundry, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data when you access or use our App or Services.
By downloading, installing, or using the Knoqq App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Knoqq is an on-demand home services platform that connects customers with trained home-service professionals. Our App is available on Android and iOS.

2. Information We Collect
(a) Identity & Contact Data
- Your mobile phone number — for login and account creation
- Your full name — provided during profile setup
- Your emergency contact name and phone number — for your safety during service visits
(b) Location Data
- Your current location — when you use the address picker to set a service address
- Your saved addresses — flat number, building name, and area — stored to make future bookings easier
(c) Booking & Transaction Data
- Services booked, duration, scheduled date and time
- Booking status and history
- Applied promo codes and total amount charged
(d) Wallet & Payment Data
- Your Knoqq wallet balance and transaction history
- Payments are processed by Razorpay — we do not store your card number, CVV, or UPI PIN
(e) Device & Usage Data
- Device type and operating system
- How you use the App — screens visited, features used, errors encountered — collected anonymously to help us improve
(f) Communications Data
- Messages or feedback you send to our support team
3. How We Collect Your Data
- Directly from you — when you register, set up your profile, book a service, or contact support
- Automatically — basic device and usage data is collected when you use the App to help us fix bugs and improve performance
- Via location services — only when you grant permission and are actively using the App

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your personal data only as described below:
(a) Service Professionals
We share your name, address, and booking details with the assigned professional so they can complete your booking.
(b) Trusted Service Providers

All providers are contractually required to use your data only for the specified purpose.

If Knoqq is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that process. We will notify you in advance.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Location Data
We collect your location only while you are actively using the App — we do not track you in the background. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; this will limit your ability to use the address picker.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
- Account and profile data — while your account is active
- Booking history — minimum 3 years for legal and accounting purposes
- Anonymous usage data — as per our analytics provider’s standard policy
To delete your account and data, email us at doorbellindia4@gmail.com. We will process your request within 7 working days. Transaction records required by law will be retained even after deletion.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, including secure communication over HTTPS and secure storage of your login credentials on your device. We encourage you to keep your phone secure and never share your OTP with anyone.
Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Knoqq App is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used our App, please contact us at doorbellindia4@gmail.com and we will delete the data promptly.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
12. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Your card details are never stored on Knoqq’s servers. For more information, see Razorpay’s Privacy Policy.
